On March 7th, the Government Affairs Industry Network (GAIN) partnered with the Grassroots Professional Network (GPN) and the NALEO Education Fund in cooperation with the Congressional Tri-Caucus Staff Associations to host its kickoff reception for the series, “Diversity In Advocacy: A Discussion to Progress the Workplace.”
Over 100 government affairs, grassroots professionals, and Hill staff gathered at the unique AURA Lounge DC to connect over conversations regarding diversity in the advocacy profession.
Keynote speaker, Rhonda Foxx, Chief of Staff, Rep. Alma Adams (D-NC) spoke about the importance of having diversity in Capitol Hill and her ongoing support for hiring people of color into key positions.
GAIN would like to thank the Grassroots Professional Network for helping co-host this amazing event and AURA Lounge for the amazing venue, and all the attendees to make this event a success. We look forward to our Diversity in Advocacy series to “Inclusively Connect DC.”
