Hot Topics in Public Policy Panel on Tax Reform
Thursday, October 12,5:30 pm-7:00 pm$10
The Government Affairs Industry Network (GAIN) and The Tax Coalition are pleased to invite you to our upcoming panel on “The Future of Tax Policy”, sponsored by Quorum and hosted by Clark Hill PLC. This is the fourth panel in GAIN’s “Hot Topics in Public Policy” series, which focuses on issues currently — or soon-to-be — moving through the 115th Congress. These panels bring together thought leaders in the industry to discuss the current state-of-play, providing insights and intel to help attendees stay ahead of the game in the policy discussions heating up DC.
“The Future of Tax Policy” panel will include an in-depth discussion led by seasoned tax policy experts about the efforts in Congress to reform the tax code. The conversation will cover what we know and what to expect moving forward regarding policy developments around three main areas: international, business, and individual tax rates. What will be used as a pay-for for lowering rates? Will we see comprehensive tax reform, tax cuts, or a bipartisan package?
Janice Mays, Managing Director, Washington National Tax Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers
Rachelle Bernstein, Vice President and Tax Counsel, National Retail Federation
Dave Olander, Partner, Capitol Counsel LLC
Please join us on October 12, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Clark Hill (1001 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 1300) to learn more about current and expected developments in tax policy as Congress and the Administration seek to chart a new course. A networking reception will kick off the event at 5:30p.
