Join GAIN and CQ for the second event in our AdvocacY from A-Y series, a webinar on how to create and manage a strategic plan for your advocacy program. What are your legislative priorities? Who are your Congressional champions? How can you leverage your PAC to achieve your goals? How do your legislative priorities impact the overall health of your organization?

“Advocacy from A-Y” is a series of professional development events co-produced by CQ and GAIN for the current or future federal or state lobbyist who is committed to learning and understanding how to be an impactful advocate. These panel events will feature seasoned professionals who have developed best practices and personal brands that are shaping the government relations industry, and give attendees the opportunity to learn from and engage with top professionals in the government affairs industry.

We have designed this event to fully comply with US Senate Rule 35.1(d)(1), US House Ethics Manual pp. 41-47, and the U.S. Executive Branch Gift Rules regarding the “widely attended event” exception to the gift rules. US Senate and House staff are advised to consult with the US Senate and House Ethics Committee to confirm this analysis. US Executive Branch employees are advised to consult with their agency counsel. State and municipal employees are advised to consult with their agency counsel as to applicable gift rules for their jurisdiction before participating in the event.
