Finance Committee

The Finance Committee provides financial oversight for GAIN by monitoring and communicating to the board the organization’s overall financial health. Its core duties include participating in and overseeing: the development of the organization’s budgeting and financial planning; the establishment of long-term financial goals; the preparation and distribution to the board of financial reports, and; the implementation of GAIN’s financial safeguards.

Programs Committee

The Programs Committee is dedicated to organizing valuable educational events for members of GAIN and the government affairs industry. These events include panels, webinars, and classes aimed at helping professionals increase their impact, and identify useful tools for our profession.

Mentor Committee

The Mentor Committee works to pair experienced veterans of the industry with newcomers who are eager to learn and benefit from the knowledge and wisdom of their devoted mentors. Open and available to all who qualify, the program is ‘Inclusively Connecting DC’ by offering professionals at every level an instant network of advisors, colleagues and friends with whom to grow and develop their professional skills.

Networking Committee

The Networking Events Committee is tasked with thinking outside the box to plan dynamic events that bring government affairs industry professionals together in engaging settings. Gatherings include GAIN’s signature Third Thursday Receptions, holiday party, and other timely events that Committee members dream up – the sky is the limit!

Communications Committee

GAIN's Communications Committee generates all marketing materials, manages all digital media, and maintains the brand standard of the organization. Through a variety of different roles in leadership and facilitative capacities, this committee is the ideal place to develop the skills necessary to be a successful communicator in the government affairs industry.
