Government affairs industry professionals gathered for GAIN’s monthly Third Thursday Networking event at Eighteenth Street Lounge in support of GAIN’s first charity fundraiser, on November 17th just before the Thanksgiving holiday. All funds raised through raffle ticket sales were donated to Bread for the City’s “Holiday Helpings” campaign.
Raffle prizes included Redskins tickets with club level access, Washington Capitals tickets with club level access, and Brunch for Four at China Chilcano. GAIN would like to thank Jennifer Hinkle, Centurion Group DC, and Jesse Baker, Jose Andres, Rob Wilder & Think Food Group for their support and generous contributions to the raffle.

The mission of Bread for the City is to provide vulnerable residents of Washington, DC with comprehensive services, including food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Bread for the City’s Holiday Helpings Campaign provides low-income DC residents with a turkey and all the trimmings so that they may enjoy a celebratory holiday meal at home with their families. With your help, they will feed 10,000 low-income DC residents with a healthful holiday meal.
